From their web site: Vento Trattoria, located in the heart of the Meatpacking District, is serving up a fun Italian food and wine experience.

After recent trips to Italy, Chef/Partner Michael White and Executive Chef Christian Fantoni decided to refresh Vento’s menu to allow guests to sample and share more dishes. Together they have created a casual, multi-regional Italian menu featuring small plates.

Start off by creating your own antipasti platter of fresh olives, imported Italian cheeses, and cured meats. Then peruse our main menu and feast your eyes on dishes like grilled asparagus with Italian cheese fonduta, herb crusted tuna crudo, pan seared snapper with pea shoots, and grilled pork loin with corn and pancetta. Our menu also features fresh house made pastas and wood oven pizzas. And while you enjoy our dishes, we encourage you to get adventurous with our wine list. Our 200 bottle wine list features indigenous Italian varietals to allow you to experiment with lesser known types of wine.

The pastry menu includes homemade gelatos and sorbets that New York Magazine featured in their "Buzz" section as a delicious dessert option for take-out. What a sweet idea. Or dig in to other sweet delights such as our popular Zeppole, crispy dough with cinnamon sugar.

Our outdoor café is currently open and offers prime people-watching. On the inside, exposed brick walls and wooden beams offer a warm Trattoria ambiance.
